GMGA Juniors Win Round One Virtual Pennant

Posted on: 9 November

Junior Golfers from six different GMGA Clubs are playing in Victorian Play at Home Pennant.  Ten participants play each week at their home or another District Club and score stableford points. At other competing clubs and Districts throughout the State the same happens.  The six best scores of the ten players are added as the team score for each round and then rated against the opposing team of the draw.

Last weekend the draw saw the GMGA team play against the team from Huntingdale GC.  The six best GMGA stableford points scores were Josh Cartwright 37, Casey Chandler 36, Olivia Thompson 34, Alex Booth 31, Charley McKenna 32, Same Bates 39 for a team total of 209.  The Huntingdale team scored 198 points.  A win to GMGA and top of the ladder in Region 3.

Well done to the team.  A great effort.  Next weekend in Round two GMGA play Commonwealth GC.

Casey Chandler bought home 36 points.
