The final round of Sunday Summer Pennant was played on Sunday (2 February) with Mooroopna hosting Section Two and Shepparton hosting Section One.\u00a0<\/p>\n
As predicted on the Golf Radio Show the last couple of Saturday mornings the teams to go through to the Semi-Finals were decided on the last round.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In Section One<\/strong> Shepparton at home gave Valley View its first defeat for the season with Valley View maintaining top spot with 2 wins and 1 loss for the season.\u00a0 Merrigum-Rushworth and Nagambie played a draw 2.5\/2.5 which put Merrigum-Rushworth into second spot by only a halved individual match over Nagambie over the three home and away matches.\u00a0 It can’t get much closer.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n In Section Two<\/strong>, Mooroopna, on their home track handed out a 5\/0 thrashing to Hill Top to then take top spot on the ladder.\u00a0 Hill Top managed to hang onto second spot which hypothetically could be thanks to Kialla-Cosgrove 3\/2 victory over Numurkah.\u00a0 \u00a0 Both Mooroopna and Hill Top finished with two wins each, with Mooroopna big win giving them a better game win loss ratio.<\/p>\n Now to the Semi-Finals to be played at Kialla GC next Sunday (9 February); Valley View, top team of Section One will play Hill Top, second team of Section Two.\u00a0 Mooroopna top team of Section Two will play Merrigum-Rushworth second team of Section One.\u00a0 \u00a0The two winners will then play off in the final at Hill Top the following week.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0Best wishes to all players.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The final round of Sunday Summer Pennant was played on Sunday (2 February) with Mooroopna hosting Section Two and Shepparton…<\/p>\n
