After the cancellation of Women’s Summer Fourball it was decided to conduct a “fun” day Fourball Stableford event instead of the Pennant Final Flag Day.  Twenty pair of women from seven GMGA Clubs took part in the event on Monday 5 December 2022.

The winners of the day with a very good score of 47 points were Allison Keogh and Sue Lowe from Nathalia GC.  Great to see the winners come from one of the District’s smaller clubs.  Runners up were Tracey Clouston and Julia Bryne from home club Numurkah with 46 points.  Julia is fairly new to golf so good to see a newcomer doing well.

At presentations President Roberts thanks Numurkah GC for hosting the event and gave special thanks to Captain Julie Hannaford for all her work of organisation. 

This was the last event for women for 2022 and now we look forward to 2023
