Well, well, well what a difference a week makes!!

Only two of the twenty teams in the Spring Showdown managed to have a better score than week one.  Well done Triers (Tocumwal) +14 points from last week and Shepp Gold +2 points.  All other teams recorded less points than in week one…………maybe the weather???

Each team has a squad of up to 10 players with the best five scores of any club competition during any day of the week eligible for the best five.  The other condition is; from the best five at least two scores have to be from men or from women. So only a maximum of three scores from one sex of the squad each week. 

The ladder after week two is given below and changes from last week are evident.  As mentioned last week consistency may win “the chocolates” after 10 weeks and Shepp Gold are making a claim.

Best individual scores for the week were Josie De Ieso 40 points from Runners (Hill Top) for the women and for the men Terry Allan registered 40 points for Shepp Gold.  Major mention to members of the Shepp Blue Team all five members with recorded score registered 35 points.  Well done Julie Harris, Greta Keenan, Shireen Moore, Leigh Gould and Peter Lloyd.   How’s that for consistency!!!
