Summer 4 Ball Sunday Pennant Started

Summer Sunday Pennant has started well, although is weather conditions some described as more applicable to winter. The Men’s East Pool played at Mooroopna and the West Pool played at Nagambie.
The matches for the first week were mostly the contests of the near neighbours. In the East Pool River dwellers Mooroopna and Shepparton played and Mooroopna starred with a 5/0 win. Tallygaroopna-Cosgrove team defeated Numurkah 4/1 whilst Kialla snuck home with a 3/2 win over Hill Top Blue.
In the West Pool Kyabram Valley View started their season with a 4/1 win over Rushworth and Hill Top Red got home 3.5/1.5 over Merrigum while host club Nagambie had the bye.

Next week the East Pool play at Numurkah, the West Pool play at Merrigum and the Women’s Pool commence at Cobram-Barooga. Results will be entered as soon as possible so that the ladder can be viewed and clubs and players kept up to date with progress during the season.
